A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Transcript For Strip 2383
Panel 1Otto and Paul are tumbling through the space between buildings, ‘snappers’ and small defender craft dogfighting around them. Some blasts get blocked by the tumbling debris around them
Otto (thought): So this is it? I’m going to die here and now?
Otto (thought): When did I do my last back-up? Was it this week? Last week?
Panel 2
A bit closer focus on tumbling Otto
Otto (thought): Merde, I’m gonna lose so much.
Otto (thought): But what if the city falls?
Otto: What if my back-up is lost or destroyed?
Otto: I’ll never see Diana a- ...
Panel 3
A blur fills the screen as a ship roars by, right through Otto’s position.
SFX1: {FOOMP!} {FOOMP!}
SFX2: NNEEOOWWNN...
Panel 4
Otto and Paul find themselves in a 3x3x3 meter cabin, pinned against a bulkhead with some straps that have extruded themselves from the bulkhead, in kind of emergency safety harnesses. The boys are stunned. They face a giant holographic image of Michael, the C.A.T. aboard the Eva Jeanne.
Michael: Got ‘em both, Alyss!
Voice of Alyss: Good job, Michael. How do they look?
Panel 5
Otto and Paul, still in shock, can only stare back at Michael as he looks them over.
Michael: They look like a couple of scared-shitless nurses.
Alyss: Well, send them back to the médico before they soil my deck.
Panel 6
Suddenly Otto and Paul find themselves sitting on the floor back in the sanitorio from which they were ejected. Several staff are running around, Beckham hurries by and barks at them.
Beckham: Why are you two sitting around? We got an emergency here!
