Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.
Kickstarter successful and closed [ May 19, 2026 ]
The Kickstarter campaign for Not-Safe.Space Chapter 3 concluded successfully on April 21, and Scott extended the time allowed for late pledges until May 19.
Books have been ordered from the printer and Scott will be spending the next week or so setting up and sending the PDF files to those who asked for them.
(There are still six of you who have not responded to the survey asking for e-mail and snail-mail addresses, he'll do the best he can.)

Transcript For Strip 2385
Panel 1Cut to Alyss on the bridge of Eva Jeanne. A holograph of Michael’s head appears next to her.
Alyss: Ok, looks like we cleared this area, for now.
Michael: Yeah but I’m getting new hails from the SchildHaus.
Panel 2
Eva Jeanne pops-in close to the Schildhaus, which still has shields up, snappers and defenders swarming around.
Alyss (from ship): Looks just like we left it, Michael.
Michael: There’s something in the lee of the building.
Panel 3
Eva Jeanne pops into a new position on the other side of the Shild Haus. We see something that looks like a big composite fighting robot. About the size of six Snappers put together, and it’s aiming it’s cannon-arms at the Haus.
Michael: What the hell --?
Alyss: Blast it! Now!!
Panel 4
Eva Jeanne hits the composite-bot with its electro-cannon. The bot appears to be shielded, it gets knocked back but remains intact.
SFX (giant): ZOT!!
Panel 5
Alyss and Michael on the bridge yelling:
Michael: Direct hit, target shields down 50 percent!
Alyss: Hit it again! Keep hit-
Panel 6
Exterior view, the bot hits Eva Jeanne with its own electro-cannon, knocking her for a loop.
SFX (Giant): ZAMM!!!
