Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

QUANTUM VIVE is taking a break for a few weeks, as we prepare for Part 2 of the Novo Palermo story, and also for a Kickstarter campaign for Part 1, which will start in September.
In the meantime, Not-Safe.Space will continue, as a murder mystery begins and the relationship between Eithne and Diana develops in unexpected directions.

A new and improved Alyss sits up on a table, looking at Jorge. We see her from behind, so Jorge is on her left. They are in the same Pillars meeting room where we last saw Alyss.
Jorge: How do you feel?
Alyss: Jorge, I … A bit disoriented … Like I’m in a different body.
Panel 3
Alyss steadies herself with a hand on Sergio’s shoulder as she climbs off the table. She is larger now, half a head taller than Sergio.
Sergio: That’s because you ARE in a different body, Alyss.
Jorge: It’s the one you had made shortly before you left for your sabbatical on Nyumbani.
Panel 4
Alyss looks at her hands as Sergio discretely rubs the shoulder she had grasped.
Alyss: Yeah. Super-strong, wicked-fast. A walking weapon, pretty much.
Alyss: I had been feeling paranoid and … well, when I saw this result, I knew I needed an extended vacation.

Alyss turns to Sergio.
Alyss: Sergio, what’s our situation?
Sergio: The invaders keep funneling-in via that impregnable IGC Legation.
Sergio: If we can’t stop that, it’s only a matter of days before we’re done.

Jorge is collecting some small tools as he glances at Alyss
Jorge: I seem to recall your friends Hugo and Murphy were supposed to be helping us.
Jorge: So, where the hell are they?
