Dark plans fall like thunderbolts.
Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.
QV on a short break [ Jul 15, 2026 ]
QUANTUM VIVE is taking a break for a few weeks, as we prepare for Part 2 of the Novo Palermo story, and also for a Kickstarter campaign for Part 1, which will start in September.
In the meantime, Not-Safe.Space will continue, as a murder mystery begins and the relationship between Eithne and Diana develops in unexpected directions.
Not-Safe.Space is a NSFW strip but more than half the pages are SFW so I've set those to *not* require a Patreon membership. Readers should be able to follow the story without seeing the NSFW pages. If I've done this right.
Panel 1
We’re back with Alyss and her netos.
Alyss: And in this manner we got all the furniture moved out of storage and into our home.
Alphonse: I thought that’s how everybody moves house.
Panel 2
Alyss responds to Dieter. The kids next to him smirk.
Alyss: That’s true nowadays, Alphonse , but not so much 400 years ago.
Alyss: Displacement tech was not so refined then.
Alyss: Now, if I may continue ...
Panel 3
Returning to the past, we see the adults lounging in the living room.
Nicole: Thanks for the help, guys. You turned a four-hour job into a two-hour job.
Murphy: How long are hours on Novo Palermo?
Panel 4
Same setting, we see Warren coming in with some drinks on a platter.
Li: We’re still using Terran time here, but a day is 25 hours, seven minutes.
Li: There are talks about coming up with a ‘universal’ time, decimalized, based on the ISO standard …
Warren: Who wants drinks?
Panel 5
Hugo has taken a glass from Warren’s tray, is eyeing it.
Hugo: Local water?
Warren: Yours and Murphy’s are filtered and infused with a silicate mix.
Warren: Mamá said you can process it.
Panel 6
Warren exits, leaving the adults with their drinks.
Murphy: A real go-getter, that one.
Hugo: You should be proud, and also keep an eye on him.
Hugo: The smart ones can be dangerous.
