Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

UPDATE: There has been some strange glitch in the Kickstarter launch, so Scott is cancelling the campaign temporarily and will re-start as soon the cause of the problem can be determined and corrected.

Panel 1Cut to Warren’s room. Warren is laying on his side on his bed, in a fetal position,moping.

Narration: Somewhat later still …
Nicole: My fine-tuned mamá-sense tells me something is troubling you.
Warren: It’s nothing.
Panel 2
Nicole sits on the bed next to Warren.
Nicole: I know you better than that, Miho. Please talk to me, maybe we can fix it.
Warren: What’s … what’s going to happen with Senhor Elvin?
Panel 3
Split panel. First Nicole looks confused, then she understands.
Nicole: Senhor Elvin? Why do you care about …
Nicole: Ah, you mean, his daughter ... Candace?

Nicole and Warren
Warren: Candace didn’t do anything wrong.
Nicole: No, but Elvin’s negligence harmed a lot of people and he must answer for that.

Warren: But Elvin and Candace helped almost everyone, sheltered and fed them.
Warren: Organized rescues. Shouldn’t that count?
Nicole: You’re right, it should, I guess.

Nicole places a hand on Warren’s shoulder. Behind her, Li pokes his head into the doorway.
Nicole: Look your father is a genius at negotiating complex problems like this.
Nicole: You must trust that he’ll find the best solution for all concerned.
