A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1Seamus still stands before the hostile receptionist, insisting on his appointment.
Seamus: However you want to spell my name I have an appointment here and now and I demand that I be seen.
Receptionist: I see tat you need to leaf.

Just then, Dr. Sharkisian emerges from a side door.
Sharkisian: Has Dr. O Murchadha –? Ah! There you are!
Seamus: Yes, your receptionist hasn't thrown me out yet.

Sharkisian looks askance at the receptionist, who is now on the defensive.
Sharkisian: Throw him out? Why?
Receptionist: His name is spelled wrong.
Panel 4
Sharkisian escorts Seamus out through the side door.
Sharkisian: Ha-ha! A misunderstanding. We'll discuss it later.
Sharkisian: Please come with me.
