Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
In the visitors' room, we look over Nicole's shoulder at a middle-aged Latino man, with a friendly demeanor, dressed in conservative business attire.
Caption: Inside the jail, Nicole meets her visitor:
Bustamante: Herberto Bustamante. I understand you've gotten in a bit of trouble, and I'm here to help.
Nicole: Are you from Smith & Holder Resolutions?
Panel 2
View of the visitors side of the visitors' room. We've seen this scene before, although at present there are no other visitors besides Bustamante.
Bustamante: Yes, that's right. They assigned me to advocate for you.
Nicole: I haven't been able to call anyone. How did you know I'm here?
Panel 3
Closer-in shot, looking over Bustamante's shoulder at Nicole. She's looking thoughtful.
Bustamante: Ah, the company has an arrangement with the Lunar authorities to notify us in the event one of our clients is arrested.
Nicole: I guess that makes sense.
Panel 4
Looking over Nicole's shoulder at Bustamante. He is smiling like a satisfied cat.
Nicole: Although I don't know why they'd honor that agreement but not allow me the tel-call their own laws call for.
Bustamante: No matter, I'm here now, and you'll be taken care of.
