Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
In an antechamber to the courtroom, a guard has brought Nicole to meet with Bustamante. Nicole maintains a 'poker face' throughout.
Caption: The next morning:
Bustamante: The arraignment will start in a few minutes. Have you thought about what I asked you yesterday?
Panel 2
Two-shot Nicole and Bustamante.
Nicole: I will not betray Seamus.
Bustamante: {sigh} Very well, if it's that important to you ...
Panel 3
With the guard in tow, Nicole and Bustamante walk into the courtroom. We see the judge's 'bench' with the Lunar Government logo, and two lighted platforms before it. A business-suited woman with short, dark hair stands on the left-side platform, while Nicole and Bustamante are headed for the right-side platform.
Bustamante: Your judge will be Clara Neopolitan.
Bustamante: I should be able to work with her, but she's a real stickler for decorum and protocol.
Panel 4
Nicole and Bustamante on a platform under a cone of light, awaiting the judge's appearance. We can see the guard standing a meter away, behind Nicole.
Bustamante: So only speak when you're spoken to and let me do the talking, ok?
