Quantum Vibe

A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Indiegogo Campaign Has Begun! [ Nov 10, 2024 ]

Quantum Vibe: This Means War (Part 3) 30 day Indiegogo campaign.

Second times a charm. The epic QUANTUM VIBE: This Means War story concludes with Part 3, and we require funds to publish a print volume. To sweeten the pot a bit, a 3 pack of the print and PDF copies of all three parts of the This Means War story is a new perk. The stickers and magnet add-ons for the Project for a Free Cosmos concept (explained in the story) are available. And one final incentive for the first 20 who get there first, an add-on for a Free Cosmos Project coaster (1 per perk).

The campaign starts today, Sunday, November 10th, and will conclude in 31 days.

Transcript For Strip 352

Panel 1
Nicole is pinned to the back end of a short corridor by Mac Park's two muscle-women. One of the woman covers Nicole's mouth with her hand, to prevent Nicole from calling for help. Mac stands in front of the seemingly-helpless Nicole.
Mac: So, you and the ape think you're better than us?
Mac: My friends and I have a different point of view.
Panel 2
Looking down at Mac from Nicole's POV. We can see some of the two muscle-women in the frame.
Mac: I warned you when you came here not to cross me.
Mac: So now, I'm going to give you what we call a 'tune-up.'
Panel 3
Nicole's right leg is free, and she uses it to kick Mac, hard. Mac flies back in a high arc, in the low Lunar gravity.
SFX: PUNT
Panel 4
Split panel -- in the first half, Mac hits the wall opposite the short corridor, belly-first. In the second half, she flops onto the floor, on her back.
SFX: WHOMP
SFX: PLOP
Panel 5
Back in the short corridor, the two muscle-women (let's call them Alex and Betty) are looking back in the direction Mac went, with uncertain expressions.
Alex: She took out teh boss! Waddo we do?
Betty: Finish wid teh tune-up, Ai gess.
Panel 6
Alex and Betty commence pummeling Nicole, in her face and stomach. Her legs flail helplessly.
SFX: THUMP THUMP WHUMP THUMP
Panel 7
Medium-shot of a battered Nicole slumping to the floor as Alex and Betty suddenly let go of her.
Nicole: buh-huuuuh

Panel 8
Switch to Nicole's POV: A clearly enraged Buford is on the scene, a too-small jumpsuit barely affording coverage. She has grasped Alex and Betty by their necks, her thumbs and fingers pressing on their carotid arteries. Alex and Betty flail helplessly, their eyes bugging out and their faces turning dark.
Buford: GRRRRRRRR
