Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.
Indiegogo Campaign Has Begun! [ Nov 10, 2024 ]
Second times a charm. The epic QUANTUM VIBE: This Means War story concludes with Part 3, and we require funds to publish a print volume. To sweeten the pot a bit, a 3 pack of the print and PDF copies of all three parts of the This Means War story is a new perk. The stickers and magnet add-ons for the Project for a Free Cosmos concept (explained in the story) are available. And one final incentive for the first 20 who get there first, an add-on for a Free Cosmos Project coaster (1 per perk).
The campaign starts today, Sunday, November 10th, and will conclude in 31 days.

Panel 1
In Seamus and Nicole's stateroom, Nicole meets an android ships's steward at the door. He has with him a levitating tray of covered dishes.
Steward: Room service – one piscabeef special and one crawdad tetrazini with salad.
Nicole: Yes, thank you.
Panel 2a
Nicole, turns with the tray and begins walking back over to the bunks but is interrupted by the Steward, who has his hand out in the classic 'my tip, please' gesture.
Steward: {ahem}
Panel 2b
Nicole drops a coin into the Stewards outstretched palm.
Nicole: Here y'go.
Steward: Thank you, ma'am.
Panel 3
Nicole transfers their meal dishes from the delivery tray to some levitating smaller trays, about the size of tv-dinner tables, placed near the lower bunk where Seamus is seated.
Nicole: That's six silgs out of my pocket so far.
Seamus: Keep track and I'll reimburse you at Helios Base.
Panel 4
Nicole sitting next to Seamus on the lower bunk
Nicole: I wish we could eat in the restaurant. I'm getting stir-crazy in this room.
Seamus: Between the narrow corridors and all the rude stares I get, I'd rather stay here.
Panel 5
Medium close-up of Nicole, eating.
Nicole: You know, maybe if you moved around more, you wouldn't be so large.
Panel 6
As soon as the words are out of her mouth, Nicole realizes her gaffe. She looks up nervously at Seamus, who stares down at her balefully.
Nicole (small): eeep!
Seamus: If you must know, Ms. Oresme, my size has nothing to do with complacency or gluttony.
Seamus: A problem occurred during my last rejuvenation which produced an endocrine imbalance.
Panel 7
Seamus looks sadly down at his food. Nicole looks like she wants to cry.
Seamus: It caused me to grow 30 cm taller and 150 kilograms heavier than I should be.
Seamus: I haven't had time to have the problem fixed yet due to the Project's schedule.
Panel 8
Nicole walks past Seamus, red-faced, headed for the door.
Nicole: I – please excuse me.
Nicole: I need to get some air. Don't wait up.
