Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
Still at the breakfast table.
Nicole: So, if we get the signal from you to leave, where do we go? Back to the hotel?
Seamus: No, at least not right away. Peng-Bo's people may look for you there.
Seamus: In fact, you'd be safer leaving this division.
Panel 2
Medium shot on Seamus.
Seamus: Catch a tube to Xin Rizhao -- it's the closest city outside Niuyaorui Division.
Nicole: And do what?
Seamus: Keep your wits about you, and stay visible. You'll be safest in crowds. And wait for my call.
Panel 3
Buford and Nicole grinning, Seamus also smiles.
Nicole: You mean, we should go shopping?
Seamus: Yes, if it's not too much trouble.
Nicole: Oh, we'll manage.
Panel 4
End flashback. The girls' limo is cruising among the towers of Xin Xian. In the foreground left, another flying car is following.
Buford (from limo): So t'e tough go shopping. Do you t'ink Seamus is just a tad paranoid?
Nicole: Sure he is. That's how he managed to live more than three centuries.
