A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1Nicole steps back towards the alleyway entrance, peering into its shadows.
Nicole: Ventura?

Looking over Nicole's shoulder down the alleyway, we can just see Ventura being carried around a far corner by a large man.
Nicole: HEY!
Panel 3
Running with her shopping bags, Nicole rounds that corner.
Nicole: That's MY robot girl you mother-shuck- ...
Panel 4
Nicole skids to a halt, facing three Huoxingian street-toughs in a dead-end side-alley. There's a debris pile near the end, and Ventura cowers near one wall just beyond the toughs.
Nicole: ... er ...
