Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Nigel is standing near where Murphy is seated, his own arms crossed, regarding her skeptically.
Nigel: So, how are you getting this list of names, may I ask?
Murphy: You may. I got them from that clerk at Lorenz Mortuary.
Panel 2
Looking from behind Murphy, across the room at where Nicole and Buford are seated on the sofa.
Nicole: Really? Isn't that a breach of privacy on his part?
Murphy: First I explained to him that we believe Nina Levin was murdered, and we are investigating further.
Panel 3
Nigel and Murphy.
Nigel: And that was all it took?
Murphy: Also, I offered him a fairly substantial bribe.
Murphy: He's saving up to open a Callahan's Tavern franchise here.
Panel 4
Buford and Nicole at the sofa.
Buford: I hope his bartender has more discretion that he does.
Nicole: Trust me, discretion for bartenders means not telling the wrong person your secrets.
