Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Control cabin, with Spike and Mike
Spike: So, we know how big it is, but how massive?
Mike: Well, if it's pure Carbon-12, we can guesstimate, but I have another idea.
Panel 2
Medium close-up on Mike.
Mike: We'll stand off from the rock at three klicks.
Mike: Then, we'll go adrift while the targeting computer closely watches the rock's view angle.
Mike: Our acceleration towards it will let us compute the mass.
Panel 3
Exterior shot, showing the ship, the rock, and bright Jupiter in the background.
Spike: Good idea, but we're only 18 mega-klicks from Jupiter ...
Mike: We can put Jupiter on our 9 o'clock and the computer can compensate. Unless you want to use the mass-detector ...
Panel 4
Control cabin, with Spike and Mike.
Spike: That thing's not worth a warm bucket of crat.
Mike: Yeah. So, let's do this.
