Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.
Not Safe [ Apr 24, 2022 ]
Starting Monday 4-25-2022, with part 3 of QUANTUM VIBE: This Means War, each strip installment has been extended to have six panels rather than four. We believe this will enable a smoother, fuller story flow for the reader. We will also be limiting uploads of QUANTUM VIBE to one installment per week so Scott has time to develop a new spin-off strip, Not-Safe.
Not-Safe will be a NSFW strip set in the Assimulation galaxy depicted in Volume 5, with Eithne Lamdagan as the central character. Our hope is it will bring in enough money so Scott can hire a colorist again and he can start producing more QUANTUM VIBE strips. More info coming soon.
Panel 1
Medium shot of a wizened old Beltape, Adam Friedman, perched on one of those round-stone 'chairs' popular among his kind. He's wearing a sort of robe and surrounded by arcane-symbolic decorations. And smoking something in a pipe.
Friedman: T'is business you haf brought to me, it is a very serious t'ing.
Friedman: Who do you accuse, hey? What is your efidence?
Panel 2
Reverse view to show Murphy, Nigel, Buford and Nicole, perched on their own stones. Nigel is handing forth another sample vial.
Nigel: I can't really accuse anyone at t'is point, Oday Friedman.
Nigel: As for efidence, we haf a sample taken from my sister's body containing t'e instrument of her murder.
Panel 3
Friedman is holding the vial and examining it closely.
Nigel (OP): T'e vial contains blood-nanites which are encoded to scrape plaque from a person's arteries and ...
Friedman: … and use t'em to block a major artery. Yes, I haf heard of such t'ings.
Panel 4
Medium 2-shot of Buford and Nicole.
Nicole (sotto voce): Has he heard of chairs? This stone is a pain in the vag ...
Buford: SHHH!!
