Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1Robo-Nicole continues flying through the data streams – seen from behind in the distance. In the foreground, we can see several more Checkers and some other nasty-looking things swinging into pursuit.
Robo-Nicole: 'Seamus who.' What's the deal?
Murphy: We can discuss that later. Right now there are more than a dozen bogeys on our tail.
Panel 2
Cut view to inside Robo-Nicole's chest cavity. Murphy is in a jump-seat next to the normal-sized Nicole avatar, which in turn is strapped into a haptic-interface.
Nicole: We're almost home, and I can deal with the bogeys.
Nicole: Get ready to jump at my signal
Panel 3
Exterior view. Robo-Nicole swings belly-forward as the smaller Nicole and Murphy avatars burst forward from the giant chest cavity. Some Checkers and beasties can be seen close behind.
Nicole: JUMP!
Panel 4
Murphy and Nicole tuck-and-roll into the cyber-platform (minus the console) from which they started. Behind them, Robo-Nicole explodes in a blinding electric flash.
SFX: ZAMM!!!
Panel 5
Back in realspace, Murphy and Nicole snap awake. Nicole is tightly clutching Murphy's hand.
Nicole and Murphy in unison: We made it!
Panel 6
Murphy and Nicole gaze into each other's eyes with a growing hunger.
No dialog.
Panel 7
Nicole pulls Murphy out of the easy chair and into her bed.
Nicole: C'mere, you.
Panel 8
Cut to Nigel and Buford – Nigel is looking at Murphy and Nicole (in the foreground below the frame, we can just see one of Murphy's unshod feet sticking up) with surprised bemusement, while Buford looks at Nigel with bedroom eyes.
Nigel: I'd tell t'em to get a room, but we're already in it.
Buford: What d'you say we go to your place?
SFX: mmf mmf ohhhh mff mff ummmm
