Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1Re-establish the scene – the Scoobies have been shot into space, sans spacesuits.
Nicole (thought): Nrrrg … shuck!

Focus on Nicole – she twists her carry-all belt around and pulls something large out of the larger pouch. It's her Sun-Shooter jacket. Her eyes and mouth are tightly shut, but we might see water vapor escaping from her nostrils.
Nicole (thought): Glad Seamus made me train for this.

Nicole puts her arms into the jacket sleeves (this is where it's clear what the jacket is).
Nicole (thought) : Don't panic, do this right.

Nicole has removed her carry-all belt and is holding it in one hand while the other pulls her left lapel across to touch the emblem on her right breast.
Nicole (thought): Gotta keep the belt on the outside.
