Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
Murphy enters the room where Seamus is still reclined on his bed, shrinking his Screen to pocket-size.
Murphy: You still aren't dressed for dinner? It starts in 15 minutes.
Seamus: Oh, there's still time.
Panel 2
Seamus is now on his feet, looking through clothing hanging in the room's wardrobe.
Murphy: You were the one looking forward to this dinner.
Seamus: Yes, I am. I want to get the measure of the man responsible for our safe journey.
Panel 3
Murphy crosses her arms, taking a matronly stance.
Murphy: Did you invite me along on this trip so I could see to it that you make your appointments on time?
Seamus: No, but you do seem to fill that role, don't you?
Panel 4
Seamus pulls a suit jacket out of the wardrobe, Murphy looks suddenly dejected by his last comment.
Seamus: Although I suppose once we meet up with Dr. Diamondi on Hyperion, I won''t need you for that purpose anymore.
