Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.
Kickstarter successful and closed [ May 19, 2026 ]
The Kickstarter campaign for Not-Safe.Space Chapter 3 concluded successfully on April 21, and Scott extended the time allowed for late pledges until May 19.
Books have been ordered from the printer and Scott will be spending the next week or so setting up and sending the PDF files to those who asked for them.
(There are still six of you who have not responded to the survey asking for e-mail and snail-mail addresses, he'll do the best he can.)
Panel 1
The vice-presidents face Hernandez.
Hernandez: Gentlemen, the good news is you all will get to go free.
Hernandez: The bad news is one of you will have to lose his manhood.
Panel 2
Looking past Hernandez at the vice-presidents, looking at one another in trepidation.
Hernandez: But I'm a fair man, so I will let you three decide who deserves the honor.
Shoji: So, this really is a dirty joke.
Panel 3
The three vice-presidents: Ortega and Robert are shouting at each other, as Shoji watches quietly.
Ortega: Take Stefan's! He's been harassing every half-way cute femme who comes within 3 meters of him.
Robert: Take Julio's! He's thrown every assistant he's ever had under the bus to cover for his screw-ups.
Panel 4
Pull back so we can see Hernandez. Now Ortega and Robert are glaring daggers at Shoji.
Hernandez: Do you have anything to say, Mr. Shoji?
Shoji: Oh, I agree with both of them.
