Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
Now facing Hernandez are the Lunan politicos: Senator Bud Ringo, Rep. Hugh Stockyard, and Gus Mann. Ashanti reads off their descriptions.
Ashanti: Senator Bud Ringo of the Mare Fecunditatis District, Luna.
Ashanti: Ringo was first elected 23 years ago on a platform of closing the central bank and restoring a free money system.
Ashanti: Since then the Bank of Luna has continued operations as usual. Ringo has been re-elected three times.
Panel 2
The focus shifts to Stockyard.
Ashanti (OP): Hugh Stockyard represents Amundsen City in the Lunar Congress.
Ashanti: His platform calls for reducing the power and reach of the Lunar government – except when the interests of OmegaTek are at stake.
Stockyard: That is not true!
Panel 3
Cut to two-shot of Hernandez and Ashanti.
Ashanti: To be more specific, the interests of Starr Photonics, an OmegaTek subsidiary which has its manufacturing plant at Amundsen Crater.
Stockyard (OP): I will not apologize for protecting the jobs of my constitutents.
Panel 4
Back to the politicos, focus now on Gus Mann. Ringo is looking at man with surprise, Stockyard is wincing, and Mann looks like a deer caught in the headlights.
Ashanti (OP): No doubt those jobs are safe in the hands of your chief-of-staff, Gus Mann.
Ashanti: Mann also happens to be on the payroll of OmegaTek, attached to Stockyard as a minder to make sure the congressman doesn't wander off the reservation.
Panel 5
Hernandez and his associates.
Hernandez: Sounds like what we have here are a collection of typical political scumbags.
Ashanti: They are also the Lunar Government's negotiating team for the Ionian mining conference.
Panel 6
Shot includes Hernandez in foreground left and Ringo in the middle-ground right.
Hernandez: Tell me Senator, how does an idealist like you're supposed to be end up carrying water for OmegaTek?
Ringo: In playing the game of politics one must be a realist. To reach my goal I have to make a few compromises along the way.
Panel 7
Three-shot of Ajax, Hernandez, Ashanti. Hernandez looks like he has a headache. In the foreground right we see Mann, looking frantic.
Hernandez: I've heard enough. Order their tongues cut out before they get shoved into their lifeboat.
Mann: Hey! I didn't get a chance to speak!
Hernandez: Start with that one.
Panel 8
Closer three-shot on Ajax, Hernandez and Ashanti.
Ajax: No suspension this time?
Hernandez: No. The smell of them has me feeling nauseous.
Hernandez: Who's next?
