Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
A puzzled Nicole's Avatar stands before the electrified doll.
Nicole: You DON'T want me to rescue you?
Doll: I'm d-doing this on p-p-p-purpose, you dummy!
Doll: If I d-d-don't help the c-c-current flow, the whole world w-will collapse!
Panel 2
Nicole assumes a schoolmarm stance.
Nicole: No, it won't.
Nicole: Those Čapek nodules aren't intended to be bridged that way. You're creating a short-circuit.
Doll: I'm w-w-what?
Panel 3
Nicole quickly reaches up with hands that have suddenly grown insulating mitts and plucks the doll from the wall.
Nicole: I'll show you.
Doll: AAA!!!
Panel 4
Suddenly the room coloring changes from panic-red to cool-blue, and the vapors are gone, revealing virtual wall panels and ceiling. The doll stands next to Nicole.
Nicole: See? It's all good.
Doll: Huh. That's not s'posed to happen.
