Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.
Kickstarter successful and closed [ May 19, 2026 ]
The Kickstarter campaign for Not-Safe.Space Chapter 3 concluded successfully on April 21, and Scott extended the time allowed for late pledges until May 19.
Books have been ordered from the printer and Scott will be spending the next week or so setting up and sending the PDF files to those who asked for them.
(There are still six of you who have not responded to the survey asking for e-mail and snail-mail addresses, he'll do the best he can.)

Panel 1Satrapi's office. Looks like a throne room at once both high-tech and decadent, with Adilieh reposed on an elevated sofa, and two servants (one human, one android, both beautiful) attending. We see her from Seamus' POV.
Adileh: Seamus O'Murchadha! Did you bring me the heart of Snow White?

Switch view to Seamus presenting Murphy.
Seamus: I only have the heart your broke yourself, many years ago.
Seamus: May I present Murphy, heir to Po Xu-ke, and owner de jure of twelve million shares in Project X.

Murphy steps forward to shake hands with Adileh (because her sofa is on a platform she doesn't have to stand to be eye-level with the gynoid).
Adileh: A pleasure to finally meet you.
Adileh: Seamus' description of you was, shall we say, tantalizingly minimalist.
Adileh: But where is your other companion? The famous sun-diver?

Adileh, Murphy, and Seamus. Adileh is trying to complement Murphy but Murphy is cool to it.
Seamus: I'm afraid our travails enroute here were a bit much for her, and she's recuperating at Áine's Spa.
Adileh: I heard about your pirate encounter. Nice rescue work, Murphy.
Murphy: It was nothing. Really.
