Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.
QV on a short break [ Jul 15, 2026 ]
QUANTUM VIVE is taking a break for a few weeks, as we prepare for Part 2 of the Novo Palermo story, and also for a Kickstarter campaign for Part 1, which will start in September.
In the meantime, Not-Safe.Space will continue, as a murder mystery begins and the relationship between Eithne and Diana develops in unexpected directions.
Not-Safe.Space is a NSFW strip but more than half the pages are SFW so I've set those to *not* require a Patreon membership. Readers should be able to follow the story without seeing the NSFW pages. If I've done this right.
Panel 1
Li is letting a ruck-sack slide off his back, and has two other bags by his feet, as he looks around inside a small apartment.
Caption (Li): 'As my time with Sam and Liz ended one of the first things I did was get myself removed from the foster system.
Caption: 'I established a new identity, got a place of my own.'
Panel 2
Unkempt Li is kicking back in his home office, which is littered with the detritus of living the bachelor life. Typing on his keyboard with one hand while drinking a canned beverage with the other.
Caption (Li): 'My identity would not withstand too close an examination, so I couldn't take any regular jobs or attend regular schools.
Caption: 'So I took irregular jobs. Some were just off-the-books, some were pretty dirty. I didn't care so long as they paid.'
Panel 3
We now see Seamus at his own desk, as he looked 70 years ago. His hair is mouse-brown but curlier now.
Caption: 'One of those jobs was monkey-wrenching a new shield project being carried out by our favorite mad scientist.
Caption: 'But Seamus was clever enough to spot my work and trace it back to the source.'
Panel 4
Back in the present. Li, Nicole, Murphy and Seamus are gathered around a park bench.
Murphy: Did he have you brought up on charges?
Seamus: I did far worse than that.
Seamus: I hired him.
