Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
Focus on the large viewscreen, Johanna standing to left. On the screen we see a young British lad in a school uniform.
Johanna: Theophilus Harold Farnsworth was born in London in the year 33 S.A., or 1990 C.E. as the years were numbered then.
Johanna: Early on he demonstrated a strong gift for mathematics.
Panel 2
The viewscreen now fills the panel. Johanna's narration in captions. We see a Farnsworth as a young man in cap and gown, receiving a diploma.
Caption: 'Despite his working-class origins his talent won him numerous scholarships, and he entered Cambridge University at the age of 14.
Caption: 'Taking an accelerated curriculum, he earned his first Ph.D. there at the age of 20.'
Panel 3
Farnsworth in a chemical laboratory, early-21st-Century style.
Caption: 'But he didn't stop there. A true polymath, he branched out into other scientific fields, earning degrees in Computer Science, bio-chemistry, and theoretical physics before he was 27.'
Panel 4
Farnsworth in a pub, being shunned by his more high-toned fellows.
Caption: 'However no matter his achievements, he was never really accepted by his fellow academicians, who mostly came from the upper classes of stratified British society.
Caption: 'For this reason, he soon left Britain.'
