Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.
Not-Safe.Space Kickstarter! [ Mar 9, 2026 ]
UPDATE to the UPDATE: The problem has been solved, all rewards are now available. I've extended the campaign an extra day, to April 21. Thanks for bearing with me!
UPDATE: There has been some strange glitch in the Kickstarter launch, so Scott is cancelling the campaign temporarily and will re-start as soon the cause of the problem can be determined and corrected.
Scott is gearing-up for his third Not-Safe.Space Kickstarter campaign!
(Not-Safe.Space is Scott's sexy spin-off of QUANTUM VIBE.)
For those of you who haven't signed up for one of the NSFW Patreon tiers, this will be the best way to get in on the action for a very reasonable price.
Go to THIS link. The campaign starts March 16 and runs through April 20.
Panel 1
Overhead view. The disassembled probe is laid out on a large table. Nicole and Murphy are standing next to the table, each with a hand-probe and hand-sized screen.
Nicole: Well, I'll be damned if I can find anything wrong with it.
Murphy: Indeed. All components seem to be in working order.
Panel 2
Closer 2-shot of Nicole and Murphy.
Nicole: Did you notice that the probe re-appeared a full 9 meters away from where it should have?
Murphy: I did, but I thought that was just another glitch.
Murphy: It is, however consistent with being pulled away by a star-sized mass a few hundred gigameters distant.
Panel 3
The girls look at one another doubtfully.
Nicole: Which leads us back to … Tau Ceti?
Murphy: It's impossible for something to cross a 12 light-year span and back instantaneously.
Nicole: Is it?
Panel 4
Nicole and Murphy.
Nicole: Most would say what we've been trying to do is impossible anyway.
Murphy: Seamus didn't think so.
Nicole: You know what Seamus would do now if he were here.
