Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.
Kickstarter successful and closed [ May 19, 2026 ]
The Kickstarter campaign for Not-Safe.Space Chapter 3 concluded successfully on April 21, and Scott extended the time allowed for late pledges until May 19.
Books have been ordered from the printer and Scott will be spending the next week or so setting up and sending the PDF files to those who asked for them.
(There are still six of you who have not responded to the survey asking for e-mail and snail-mail addresses, he'll do the best he can.)

Transcript For Strip 1074
Panel 1Reverse view so we see what the girls are seeing: Seamus is laid out on a table. Both his arms and his feet have been amputated. His head has been shaved. Several thick tubes are running from his stomach into machinery next to his table. The machinery seems to be functioning.
Nicole: This is unreal.
Panel 2
Murphy and Nicole have moved over to the table. Buford stays behind, too horrified to move. Nicole is in tears.
Murphy: He's on total life-support.
Murphy: Fortunately our EMP didn't reach this far or he'd be dead now.
Nicole: Seamus ...
Panel 3A
Murphy leans down close to Seamus' head – he looks every one of his 535 years.
Seamus: Murphy … you know what to do ...
Murphy: Yes.
Panel 3B
Murphy forms her left hand into a hot blade.
Murphy: Forgive me, my love.
Panel 4
Murphy brings the blade down hard on Seamus' neck, severing his head. Nicole is shocked.
