Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

In Nicole's hotel room, Nicole squats quietly in her Bubb near the back corner, as close as she can get to her charger, which is laying on a back bureau. Seamus watches the door as he carries on a convo with Room Service.
Seamus: No, we did not check out yesterday! We're still in our rooms, and we want our air restored if it's not too much trouble.
