Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
Seamus with Nicole in the corridor. Seamus is imploring her to see reason.
Seamus: Nicole, he tried to kill you. You defended yourself.
Nicole: I killed him.
Panel 2
Seamus looks about warily, worried about another attacker. Nicole still hasn't budged.
Seamus: Can we go through this somewhere else? We're rather exposed here.
Nicole: I could've died.
Panel 3
Seamus moves around behind her. His arms are spread wide as if to grasp her but he's not sure how to go about it.
Seamus: Dammit, girl, I can't carry you like this.
Nicole: I could've died three times ...
Panel 4
Seamus rolls Nicole's Bubb forward, which has the effect of knocking her off her feet. Which sends her sprawling, and also snaps her out of her fugue state.
Nicole: I .. what the SHUCK, Seamus?
