Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.
Indiegogo Campaign Has Begun! [ Nov 10, 2024 ]
Second times a charm. The epic QUANTUM VIBE: This Means War story concludes with Part 3, and we require funds to publish a print volume. To sweeten the pot a bit, a 3 pack of the print and PDF copies of all three parts of the This Means War story is a new perk. The stickers and magnet add-ons for the Project for a Free Cosmos concept (explained in the story) are available. And one final incentive for the first 20 who get there first, an add-on for a Free Cosmos Project coaster (1 per perk).
The campaign starts today, Sunday, November 10th, and will conclude in 31 days.

Panel 1
Nicole is cleaning her flat – dumping a box full of beer cans into a recycler chute, a broom and a few more beer cans near her feet, when her Screen beeps and flashes. Her hair is tied back again and she appears to be wearing loose-fitting, knocking-around-the-home type clothing (actually it's her Anysuit as we'll see shortly).
SFX: B-deep! B-deep! B-deep!
Panel 2
Nicole looks at her screen, we see it from over her shoulder. A message reads:
Screen text: Re: 3287206
Dr. Seamus O Murchadha wishes to interview you for the position. Please arrive at Port 724 promptly at 0800 on 05.03.566
Panel 3
Medium shot of Nicole looking both excited and a bit alarmed.
Nicole (thought): That's tomorrow morning! And I don't have job-interview clothes!
Panel 4
Turning back to her Screen, Nicole touches some virtual buttons to bring up a clothing catalog.
Nicole (thought): What to wear what to wear what to wear.
Panel 5A
Split panel. On the left, a model in a severely 'corporate' suit of clothes.
Nicole: Er, no.
Panel 5B
Split panel. On the right, a model in a frilly, feminine ensemble.
Nicole: Egads.
Panel 6A
Another split panel. On the left, a model in a hyper-stylized, tres-chic tunic and puffy-trousers with floating sleeves.
Nicole: Not really.
Panel 6B
Another split panel. On the right, a model in an attractive assemblage of vest, blouse, and full-length slacks gathered at the ankles. Nicole presses a button labeled 'Purchase.'
Nicole: That'll work.
Panel 7
Full-length shot – instantly, Nicole's clothing transforms into the clothing she just purchased. She looks down at herself, smiling.
Nicole: Not bad!
Panel 8
Suddenly, her Anysuit shorts out, revealing its true form as a high-tech leotard-and-leggings.
Nicole: Aw, crat!
SFX: Pop! fizzle-fizzle
