Quantum Vibe

A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Indiegogo Campaign Has Begun! [ Nov 10, 2024 ]

Quantum Vibe: This Means War (Part 3) 30 day Indiegogo campaign.

Second times a charm. The epic QUANTUM VIBE: This Means War story concludes with Part 3, and we require funds to publish a print volume. To sweeten the pot a bit, a 3 pack of the print and PDF copies of all three parts of the This Means War story is a new perk. The stickers and magnet add-ons for the Project for a Free Cosmos concept (explained in the story) are available. And one final incentive for the first 20 who get there first, an add-on for a Free Cosmos Project coaster (1 per perk).

The campaign starts today, Sunday, November 10th, and will conclude in 31 days.

Text heading:
Alyss Roaz Memoirs Volume 5
Text body:
1078.02.03
Yesterday the City celebrated ‘Peace Day,’ the anniversary of our armistice with IGC. Lorelei took charge of the arrangements, and made a fair Mistress of Ceremonies for the presentation.
Unfortunately Mitch still has almost another year to complete his revivification, as he had chosen to have a biological body made to his exact specifications. I think Lorelei would have preferred to have him there with her if it were possible, because she complained privately about being inundated with date requests and even marriage proposals.
All of the destoyed Spheres have been re-built, although the process of restoring the buildings and social networks within them, and elsewhere in the City, has a good long ways to go.
Sheldon reports that psychological counselors are still keeping extremely busy treating all the PTSD among the people. The addition of 12 new counselors who had fled the city early on has not helped, as people strongly prefer to work with those who had lived through the fighting
Panel 2
We see Alyss in her comfy chair, ‘dictating’ her memoirs. The text appears in the space above her.
Text:
The return of the 15 adjudicators who had fled was more helpful, as the trials of the Executives who managed the invasion have not yet been completed. The destruction of Shārén complicated matters a bit, as counter-claims were
Panel 3
Alyss looks up in response to the sudden shouting.
Shouts OP: ABUELA!
Panel 4
A flood of 9 younglings ages 7 through 18 burst into the room
Shouting: Abuela! Abuela!

Panel 5
The children swarm Alyss in her chair, the younger ones hugging and kissing her. The oldest, Alphonse, holds back and speaks to her
Alyss: Ah, Meus Netos! So good to see you again!
Alphonse: It was impossible to hold them back any longer.
