Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
Bok is dressed in clean, dry clothes, shrugs on his rucksack as he walks past the kitchen where Dorothy is cutting something on the cutting board.
Dorothy: You're not going out now, are you?
Bok: I'm meeting some classmates for a study session.
Dorothy: Uh-huh. So I'm making dinner for us for nothing, eh?
Panel 2
Bok is now standing near the front door. We can still see Dorothy in the kitchen.
Bok: I won't be gone that long. Save some for me.
Dorothy: {sigh} Okay, fine.
Dorothy: But don't be out late this time, Bok. There may be … a surprise coming for you.
Panel 3
Bok is almost through the door but turns back to look questioningly at Dorothy, who seems to be enjoying putting a hook into her nephew.
Bok: Huh? What surprise?
Dorothy: Well, if I told you, it wouldn't be a surprise, would it?
Dorothy: Be home by 17 at the latest, all right?
