Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Nicole: Yes.
Panel 2
Two-shot of Stone and Nicole. Stone is trying to be as gentle as she can in her questioning, but Nicole looks brittle.
Agent Stone: Then one of them zinged at you?
Nicole: Zing grazed my Bubb.
Stone: Then one of them followed you around the corner?
Nicole: Y-yes.
Panel 3
Three-shot of Stone, Nicole, Seamus. Nicole is breaking down.
Stone: Then he aimed his zringer at you?
Nicole: Yes ...
Nicole: Then … then I … killed him.
Panel 4
Seamus pipes up, drawing a scornful look from Stone, as Nicole breaks down into sobs.
Seamus: Regrettably there is no gentle way to de-flower a self-defense virgin.
Stone: Don't you have your own baggage to pack?
Nicole: {wail}
