A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

QUANTUM VIVE is taking a break for a few weeks, as we prepare for Part 2 of the Novo Palermo story, and also for a Kickstarter campaign for Part 1, which will start in September.
In the meantime, Not-Safe.Space will continue, as a murder mystery begins and the relationship between Eithne and Diana develops in unexpected directions.
Not-Safe.Space is a NSFW strip but more than half the pages are SFW so I've set those to *not* require a Patreon membership. Readers should be able to follow the story without seeing the NSFW pages. If I've done this right.
Transcript For Strip 1136
Panel 1Meanwhile, back in Boney's parlor, Boney and Bok discuss business.
Bok: My gadget guy is gonna need resources.
Boney: What resources?
Bok: I don't know exactly, I'll have to talk to him.
Panel 2
Boney leads Bok in rising to their feet. Boney is extending a fist, knuckles down. Bok responds with the classic 'fist-bump' gesture.
Boney: All right, come back to me with a list.
Bok: I better get back to my buggy-friend now – he tends to wilt at parties.
Panel 3
Now back to Zander with the girls Nikki and Jamin. Zander is still babbling tech-talk and the girls are completely zoning-out.
Zander: … The induced emfs are capable of driving currents around a conductive metal circuit, which can be the rotor body, the shaft, the bearing surfaces, the stator frame and enclosure. If the stationary parts of the bearings are not insulated from their housings then a low conductivity circuit is available for the induced currents ...
Panel 4
Bok walks up to Zander and the girls, who are still zoned out at this point.
Bok: Ah so! Glass-hoppa is learning the art.
Bok: That is, if you haven't slipped something into those girls' drinks.
Zander: Huh?
Panel 5
Nikki and Jamin snap out of their trances and then are surprised to see Bok standing there in front of them. Jamin is covering her mouth as she coughs.
Nikki: What? Who? Oh, Bok!
Jamin: Ohch – {cough!} Hey Bok, as you can see we've met your friend.
Jamin: He's been such a fascinating talker.
Panel 6
Zander smiles and looks a slightly-skeptical Bok right in the eye. The girls don't understand the significance of this. Jamin is taking a swig from her nearly empty drink glass.
Bok: Zander can be full of surprises.
Zander: What can I say? They've been here with me almost the whole time you were gone.
