Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
The buggy carrying Bok and Zander is approaching their residential tower (Tower 2). The planet their world orbits looms large in the night sky behind the tower. We see the buggy from behind in this frame.
Bok: So, this buggy-cracker. Do you think you can build one?
Zander: Yeah, shouldn't be too hard.
Panel 2
They pull into the parking garage.
Zander: But you know I'll need more components.
Bok: Of course. Give me a list and I'll get you what you need.
Zander: Do you mind if I ask for a little extra? For my own projects.
Panel 3
The pair walk away from their parked vehicle.
Bok: Nah, of course not. You deserve it.
Bok: But don't ask for too much extra, or my supplier will balk.
Zander: Would Boney even know if I'm asking for too much material?
Panel 4
Bok gapes in surprise at Zander, who continues on calmly.
Bok: Bo … How did you know it was Boney?
Zander: Wasn't hard to figure out.
Bok: Yeah, well, keep quiet about that, will you?
Zander: Don't worry, I don't want to feek things up for either of us.
Panel 5
They pause by a bank of elevator doors. Bok is handing something that looks like a USB stick to Zander.
Bok: You got that right.
Bok: Well, here's the key to your dad's buggy. See you tomorrow.
Zander: Right. I can't wait to hear what your 'surprise' will be.
Panel 6
Bok walks on, looking a bit troubled.
Caption (Bok): Yeah, me too.
Caption: Not sure I'm gonna like it, though.
Caption: The last time Aunt Dorothy sprung a 'surprise' on me it was a kittypup that turned out to have chronic diarrhea. Talk about a surprise.
