Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
Inside Bok's apartment – this time we see him enter the front door from the opening into the den, where Aunt Dorothy is sitting in her overstuffed chair, a wine glass in her hand. She's looking sullen.
Bok: I'm back, Aunt Dorothy. On time, even.
Dorothy: Will wonders never cease.
Bok: So where's this surprise you mentioned?
Panel 2
Bok has walked over to where Dorothy is seated, his hands on his hips, looking at her expectantly. She's looking into her wine glass.
Dorothy: There's been … a delay.
Dorothy: Maybe in a couple more days, I'm told. I'm sorry, Bolivar.
Bok: You're not telling me what it is?
Dorothy: No.
Panel 3
Bok has turned and is walking away. Dorothy is drinking from the wine glass.
Bok: Just so long as it doesn't require diapers.
Bok: Well, I'll go see what you left for me in the kitchen.
Dorothy: There should be plenty enough for your dinner tonight, AND to pack for lunch at class tomorrow.
