A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Nicole and Seamus continue walking through a corridor, their suitcases following in their wake.
Seamus: So you don't like secrecy?
Seamus: You don't understand how vital it is to keep trade secrets in a world as both highly-competitive and highly-communicative as ours?

Panel 2
Medium close-up on Nicole, glancing sideways at Seamus.
Nicole: Of course I do. Especially after that first job interview.
Nicole: When you told me things about me even my mother doesn't know, I felt like I'd been stripped naked.
