A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
Nicole and Seamus are making their way through the busy concourse and turn their heads simultaneously in reaction to Seamus' name being called.
Voice OP: SEAMUS!
Panel 2
Wayne Bobinardi nearly hustles up towards Nicole and Seamus.
Wayne: Seamus! Glad I caught you.
Wayne: I was shocked to hear about the attack on you and Ms. Oresme.
Nicole: I'll bet you were.
Panel 3
Wayne is looking a bit annoyed, controlling his temper. Nicole stares daggers back at him.
Wayne: I – what are you implying?
Nicole: How did you know about the attack on us?

Wayne gestures up towards a large 16:9 viewscreen positioned on a wall just above the crowds, on which we see a newsreader in front of a graphic featuring images of Nicole and Seamus.
Wayne: Well, I found out when the intrepid Agent Stone spent half an hour interrogating me.
