The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Transcript For Strip 1253

Panel 1
The medi-bot scans Alyss in Bok's arms. Alyss is starting to shudder.
Bok: It's Alyss � her hand is severely �
Medi-bot: Scanning subject � severe tissue damage to right hand � patient has gone into shock.
Panel 2
A stretcher extends outward from the medi-bot, startling Bok, Zander and Diana.
Medi-bot: Place the patient on the stretcher immediately for treatment.
Panel 3
As Bok places Alyss on the stretcher mask telescopes out and affixes itself to Alyss' face. Bok is disconcerted.
Medi-bot: Administering anesthetic and stabilizing vapors.
Bok: Are you sure you know what you're doing?
Medi-bot: Please present your medical credentials or else refrain from offering medical advice.
