A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1Winona, Warren, Lucas (Lucas is a white boy about Warren’s age and size)
Warren (whispers to Marco): Lucas … didn’t we cover the Third Iran war last week?
Marco(whispers): I think so … it’s her favorite topic.
Panel 2
Winona, Warren, Lucas
Warren (whispers): You think she’ll get mad if we left early?
Lucas(whispers): Not if we come up with a good reason.

Cut over to Talia, stunning the boys.
Talia: If you boys think you have a better place to be, I’m not keeping you.

Warren and Marco turn to leave. Winona starts to go with them, but is stopped by Talia’s remark.
Talia: Not you, Winona. You’re my responsibility.
Talia: And, this involves family history.

Warren and Marco fast-walk out of the building.
Warren: You think Winona will fill us in if we miss anything important?
Lucas: I dunno. Maybe you can sweet-talk her into it.

Warren and Marco continue down the street.
Warren: Look, we’re just good friends, I’m not her boyfriend.
Lucas: Does she know that?
