Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.
Kickstarter successful and closed [ May 19, 2026 ]
The Kickstarter campaign for Not-Safe.Space Chapter 3 concluded successfully on April 21, and Scott extended the time allowed for late pledges until May 19.
Books have been ordered from the printer and Scott will be spending the next week or so setting up and sending the PDF files to those who asked for them.
(There are still six of you who have not responded to the survey asking for e-mail and snail-mail addresses, he'll do the best he can.)

Bok: That was no elevator we were in! That was ...
Zander: A Murphy Capsule!
Diana: But how did it get through Zytemonde's Oresme Shield?

Michael: Oh, please.
Michael: Zytemode's technology is nearly 350 years out of date.
Michael: Getting through was child's play.
Panel 3
Bok is bedazzled. Zander looks at him curiously. Diana is getting angry.
Bok: So … the story my father told me really was true.
Zok: You doubted it?
Diana: This is just as I feared. Alien interference.
Diana: We've been kidnapped.
Panel 4
The kids argue.
Bok: Kidnapped? What do you mean? We were rescued!
Diana: We weren't given a choice!
Bok: You made your choice when you killed that Cor-bot, Diana.
Panel 5
Michael addresses Diana.
Michael: Am I to understand that you … murdered an arti-person?
Diana: That … 'arti-person' tried to arrest us, and fried Alyss' right hand.
Michael: Self-defense, then. But if you are here unwillingly, I can return you to the scene you departed.

Bok and Zander smirk a bit as Diana demurs.
Diana: Uh, no, that's okay. Here's good, for a while anyway.
Michael: Very well. Would you like some refreshments while you wait for the mistress to convalesce?
Michael: I could also put on some vids from your homeworld. They'll be half a year out-of-date, though.
