Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.
Kickstarter successful and closed [ May 19, 2026 ]
The Kickstarter campaign for Not-Safe.Space Chapter 3 concluded successfully on April 21, and Scott extended the time allowed for late pledges until May 19.
Books have been ordered from the printer and Scott will be spending the next week or so setting up and sending the PDF files to those who asked for them.
(There are still six of you who have not responded to the survey asking for e-mail and snail-mail addresses, he'll do the best he can.)

Panel 1Alyss is looking somewhat wistfully at the monitors showing the view of Zytemonde's star.
Bok: So, where do we go from here?
Zander: Yeah, we're fugitives on Zytemonde now.
Diana: Are you sure? That Corbot may not have been able to connect with the network.
Panel 2
Alyss turns to talk to the kids.
Alyss: Diana, how is it you fell down those steps?
Diana: I was … kicked down them.
Bok: By who?
Diana: I … I don't really know.
Panel 3
Alyss and the kids.
Alyss: Until we know more we should assume that whoever it was knows we were all there.
Zander: Which means, what? We can't ever go back?
Diana: Isn't that just peachy?

Bok and Alyss.
Bok: I have to go back! My father needs me! My aunt will drink herself into a coma!
Alyss: I know about Santiago, Bok. In a way, I owe him, too.
Bok: What do you mean?

Alyss and the kids
Alyss: I'll have to explain that one later.
Alyss: But if you want to return to Zytemonde and not get brain-wiped, some preparations are required.
Alyss: And to do that, we'll have to return to my homeworld for a bit.

The kids confer.
Bok: Well, I'm game. What do you guys think?
Zander: If I get to see more cool tech, I'm all for it.
Diana: I still don't trust her, but I don't see a better option.
Diana: Let's do this thing.
