Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.
We Now Return You To Your Regularly Scheduled Program. [ Mar 1, 2021 ]
Texas has returned to more normal winter weather conditions, power is back on and Internet connections are working. Which means Scott has new Quantum Vibe strips ready to go this week. We appreciate everyone's understanding and patience as we emerged from hibernation.
And if you haven't already, please help us keep the lights on by buying Quantum Vibe books (in print or digital) along with any of Big Head Press's other thoughtful stories.
Panel 1
Zander is sitting at the desk in his room, looking at something on his monitor. He's wearing different clothes. Bok is standing in the connecting doorway, wearing high-tech looking long-johns.
Caption: The youngsters settle into their rooms. Soon:
Bok: Hey, Zander, I … huh.
Bok: Where did you find normal clothes? All I got were these long-johns.
Panel 2
Zander and Bok. Zander is touching one of his sleeves with the opposite hand.
Zander: Oh, right, that threw me too, at first.
Zander: That's not long-johns, it's something called an 'Anysuit.'
Zander: Because it can be made to look like anything you want.
Panel 3
Zander is taking Bok by the arm and walking him back towards the connecting door.
Bok: Uh … how do I work this thing?
Zander: Since we don't have implants, we have to set these up at a terminal.
Zander: Let's use the one in your room.
