Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Texas has returned to more normal winter weather conditions, power is back on and Internet connections are working. Which means Scott has new Quantum Vibe strips ready to go this week. We appreciate everyone's understanding and patience as we emerged from hibernation.
And if you haven't already, please help us keep the lights on by buying Quantum Vibe books (in print or digital) along with any of Big Head Press's other thoughtful stories.
Panel 1
Bok and Diana in a huddle, still in front of the painting.
Diana: Wait a tic … that can't possibly be Alice.
Diana: She'd have to be – what – over 800 years old now?
Bok: Um … yeah, in Zytemonde years.
Panel 2
Bok and Diana, looking up at the painting again.
Diana: Right. So, Alyss must be a descendant. Maybe a great-great-great-great-great-granddaughter?
Bok: At least. Nobody lives over 140.
Alyss (OP): Quite the contrary ...
Panel 3
Bok and Diana turn to see Alyss/Nicole standing behind them.
Alyss: I am, in fact, Nicole Oresme of L-5 City.
Alyss: And I am 857 years old, as you measure time.
Alyss: Although I prefer Standard Years, of which I'm merely 525.
