Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.
We Now Return You To Your Regularly Scheduled Program. [ Mar 1, 2021 ]
Texas has returned to more normal winter weather conditions, power is back on and Internet connections are working. Which means Scott has new Quantum Vibe strips ready to go this week. We appreciate everyone's understanding and patience as we emerged from hibernation.
And if you haven't already, please help us keep the lights on by buying Quantum Vibe books (in print or digital) along with any of Big Head Press's other thoughtful stories.
Panel 1
Diana in her flyer, soaring among the floating buildings.
Diana (thought): If Gomez thinks he can discourage me, he's got another think coming.
Diana: There's more than one way to skin a cathound.
Panel 2
Diana's flyer approaches a complex structure with numerous connecting walkways.
Diana (thought): I'd hoped I wouldn't have to play stalker here.
Diana: And there's no guarantee I won't be wasting my time, but ...
Diana: … there is one other way I might get to Drusilla.
Panel 3
Diana's flyer settles on a landing pad connected to the structure, which sports a large sign reading, 'Galleria Olympia.'
Diana (thought): One of the articles profiling Drusilla mentioned she frequents a requintado in this, uh, complex.
Diana: Whatever the heck a 'requintado' is. Guess I'll find out.
