A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1Diana picks herself off the floor outside the 'Silver Spot' restaurant.
Diana (thought): Well, that went splendidly.
Diana: I had so many questions. Ah, well.
Diana: I suppose I need to develop my 'people skills.'
Panel 2
Diana wanders through the concourse, consulting her handy.
Diana (thought): Strangely enough, getting thrown out of an eatery has made me hungry.
Diana: I wonder if there's a more … congenial place around here I can get fed?
Panel 3
Diana is seated in a much less fancy diner, trying to eat a sandwich. At the table next to her, a young mother is dealing with her noisy young children.
