Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.
Kickstarter successful and closed [ May 19, 2026 ]
The Kickstarter campaign for Not-Safe.Space Chapter 3 concluded successfully on April 21, and Scott extended the time allowed for late pledges until May 19.
Books have been ordered from the printer and Scott will be spending the next week or so setting up and sending the PDF files to those who asked for them.
(There are still six of you who have not responded to the survey asking for e-mail and snail-mail addresses, he'll do the best he can.)

Transcript For Strip 1369
Panel 1Alyss at Santiago's bedside, continuing her soliloquy.
Alyss: We were betrayed, you know.
Alyss: My assistant, the one you knew as 'Vash.' She disagreed with my plan to foment change.
Alyss: I knew that, but I didn't realize the extent she'd go to thwart me.
Panel 2
Cut to Bok, eavesdropping by the doorway.
Alyss: And wouldn't you know, it was another Zytemondian who found this out?
Alyss: A young friend of Bok's, named Diana. She's quite remarkable, you know.
Alyss: Pulled together all kinds of information, her associations, her movements, and made a solid case.
Alyss: When you're healed I'll have to introduce you.

Back to Alyss and Santiago. Alyss leans forward and kisses Santiago on the cheek.
Alyss: I have to go now. One last bit of business I want to finish before we go back to Oz.
Alyss: This won't take long, and then we'll all have a bright future ahead of us.
Alyss: See you again soon … my love.
