To boldly go where no manic pixie dream girl has gone before.
Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
Still in the control room: Murphy is scolding Eithne, while Hugo looks thoughtful.
Murphy: Was this assignment too boring or too difficult for you?
Murphy: Did you just script a bot to run the survey for you so you could spend your time gaming?
Eithne: No! I mean, yes I did script bots, but … but ...
Panel 2
Eithne runs from the room, distraught. Hugo calls up the holo-display that Eithne used previously, and studies it.
Eithne: I did my best! It's not fair -!
Murphy: Bosun! You were not dismissed!
Hugo: Hmmm
Panel 3
Murphy and Hugo. Murphy looks off in the direction Eithne ran, arms crossed. Hugo continues studying the holo-display.
Murphy: Why oh why did we agree to bring that child on this mission?
Hugo: Every mistake we make seems like a good idea when we make it.
