To boldly go where no manic pixie dream girl has gone before.
Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly
100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five
centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various
off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The
story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along
with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues
with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1
External view, the Alien ship and Causa Sui are moving side-by-side, the icy planet receding into the background.
Captain Pbbbbbbbt (from ship): We have examined your translator data and believe we can adapt it to our B'fbrrrbt software.
Captain Pbbbbbbbt: However our Pfftbbrrtt cannot create the sounds in your Pbpblltt file.
Murphy: I'm sorry, can you repeat that with easier words?
Panel 2
On the bridge of the Alien ship, the Captain and some of his crew at various consoles.
CP: Our … mouths cannot make the sounds of your language.
Murphy (OP): I understand. We will use your language until we can … solve the problem.
CP: Yes. There is much to talk about.
Panel 3
Three-shot of Hugo, Murphy and Eithne in their control room. Hugo and Eithne exchange nervous glances as Murphy stays cool.
CP (OP): For one thing, you seem to have very powerful weapons, for a small ship.
Murphy: Because we had no idea what we would find out here.
Murphy: And, just like you, we want to stay alive.
