Quantum Vibe
A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Eithne: Before you go, you need to … ah … intake this somehow.
Hugo: What is it?
Eithne: It's a micro-hopper-transponder.
Panel 2
Pull back a bit to include Murphy in the frame. Hugo is holding the egg now, inspecting it intently.
Murphy: A micro-whosit-whatsit?
Eithne: A tiny Murphy Drive combined with a homing device. Very short range.
Eithne: An emergency get-out-of-trouble gadget. Also kind of experimental.

Hugo is looking thoughtful while Murphy and Eithne argue.
Murphy: 'Kind of experimental'? Has it even been tested?
Eithne: Of course it has. But, well, the results weren't always … ah … consistent.
Murphy: Are you sure this isn't a get-into-trouble gadget?
