A thousand years in the future, humanity has colonized worlds in nearly 100 galaxies, thanks to Quantum Vibremonic technologies developed five centuries earlier. Other new technologies have created various off-shoots of humanity and extended life expectancies five-fold. The story begins with how a mad scientist and his plucky assistant, along with their robot friend, brought humanity to the stars, and continues with the adventures of some unique people in fantastic places.

Panel 1In the galley, Eithne waits before a food server as Murphy looks on.
Eithne: Okay, so while you are reviewing sexy alien broadcasts, what can I do?
Murphy: I could give you a list of maintenance duties.
Eithne: Gee, thanks, but this ship is self-maintaining.
Panel 2
Eithne pulls a steaming bowl of something out of an open panel in the food server.
Eithne: Well, how about I do some extensive scanning of the alien ship?
Eithne: It could be useful to figure out how their warp drive works.
Murphy: No doubt they're taking a very close look at our ship's systems.
Panel 3
Eithne is seated in the booth, preparing to eat, while Murphy stands by.
Eithne: Hard to blame 'em.
Eithne: But do you think they could figure out how our Murphy Drive works?
Murphy: Not just by scanning it. Torturing us might work, though.
